Recipe: Zesty Gut-Healing Ginger Tea

Ingredients (1–2 servings):

  • 1½ cups water
  • 1–2 inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced or grated
  • Juice of ½ a lemon (optional: slice the rind in too for extra zing)
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (with the "mother")
  • 1 tsp raw honey (or maple syrup if vegan)
  • Optional: a pinch of turmeric or a few mint leaves

Instructions:

  1. Bring the water to a gentle boil.
  2. Add ginger and simmer for 10–15 minutes (longer = spicier).
  3. Strain into a mug, then stir in lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and honey.
  4. Sip slowly and feel your gut say “thank youuu.”
