What Makes This Berry Crisp Gut-Friendly?

Unlike traditional crisps made with white flour and sugar, this paleo version supports your gut and blood sugar. Here’s how:

  • Berries provide fiber and antioxidants

  • Maple syrup adds sweetness without spiking insulin like refined sugar

  • Healthy fats from nuts and coconut help keep you satisfied

It’s a win for your taste buds and your body.

Ingredient Swaps & Add-Ons

  • Berries: Use whatever you have—fresh or frozen both work.

  • Nuts: Pecans or walnuts add crunch and flavor, but almonds or sunflower seeds work too.

  • Want extra indulgence? Top with coconut whipped cream or a scoop of your favorite paleo-friendly ice cream.
