Dairy-Free Tomato Basil Soup

If you want a super easy soup packed with super disease-fighting qualities this Dairy-Free Tomato Soup is for you!

My dairy-free tomato basil soup is the holy grail of disease-fighting properties!  This is mostly due to the high level of carotenoids (the sexy red color), and the high levels of flavonoids (antioxidants aka street cleaners) working as a team! As a result, you get synergistic wellness effects that are just as good as the delicious taste.

Sick of crunching through raw veggies to get the most absorption? Not today satan! As a bonus, the carotenoids absorb much better when cooked, making this soup a superfood!

Tomatoes in general are jam-packed with antioxidants, which bind with very unstable compounds called free radicals. Simply put, free radicals are a result of all the bad decisions you have made. High fat/sugar diets, medications, chemicals, and alcohol result in oxidative stress (free radicals) that travel around our bodies and tear things up.

Antioxidants such as vitamin E, vitamin C, lutein, beta-carotene, and mostly lycopene are all included in this soup and ready to bind with any free radicals!

Would I blow your mind if I told you this Dairy-Free Tomato Basil Soup could help male infertility?

When I read that research, my mind was blown!  Oxidative stress causes sperm to become unhealthy, and thus less mobile. Since tomato soup is packed with antioxidants, it can mop up some of that stress while simultaneously preventing prostate and breast cancer!   If there is one food a man should be eating, it is tomato soup regularly!

Dairy-Free Tomato Basil Soup can also help your eyes!

You guessed it, oxidative stress can also build up in the eyes causing macular degeneration. Macular degeneration is a non-curable disease that causes blurriness and even blindness in the center of the eye. Thanks to 23andme, I found out I have both copies of the macular degeneration gene :( If you are wondering if I am really worried, rest assured I am not.

You see, genes load the gun but the environment pulls the trigger. How refreshing to know you can turn good genes on and bad genes off just by eating healthy!  There are so many more benefits, but you get the picture.  Tomato soup is good for you, and should be on the weekly menu regularly!

As always I wish you the best in wellness and biohacking:)

20 Roma Tomatoes

1 Large Red Onion (Slivered)

1 Head of Garlic ( Shells Removed)

1/3 cup of Nutritional Yeast

1/2 Tbsp of Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener

1 12oz can of Tomato Paste

1 1/2 cups of Vegetable Broth

1 cup of Fresh Basil Chopped

2 Tablespoons of Ground Pepper

1/2 cup of Avocado Oil

1/4 cup Celtic Sea Salt

1/2 Can Coconut Milk (stirred to mix evenly)

1/4 cup Nutpods Original Creamer (optional to drizzle on top)

Toss tomatoes, onion, and garlic bulbs in avocado oil and roast in the oven @ 400 degrees for about 40 minutes.

From here you have a few options on how to blend your soup.

Using a blender or food processor, blend all the ingredients from the pan with the nutritional yeast and coconut milk.

Alternatively, you could pour all the roasted veggies, coconut milk, and nutritional yeast into your soup pan. Using an Immersion blender, slowly blend all ingredients until desired consistency.

Drizzle with more coconut milk or the Nutpods Original Creamer and top with fresh chopped basil. Enjoy!
