Recipe: Caribbean Air-Fried Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
-
2 lbs chicken wings
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
1 tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
1 tsp smoked paprika
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp onion powder
-
½ tsp ground allspice
-
½ tsp ground cinnamon
-
1 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
-
1 tbsp lime juice
-
½ tbsp coconut aminos (or gluten-free soy sauce)
-
½ tsp mild chili powder (optional)
Instructions:
-
Make the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, honey/maple syrup, and coconut aminos. Stir in all dry spices until a paste forms.
-
Coat the Wings: Toss the chicken wings in the marinade until fully coated. Let marinate at least 30 minutes (overnight is ideal!).
-
Air Fry: Preheat air fryer to 380°F. Arrange wings in a single layer and cook for 22–25 minutes, flipping halfway. Increase temp to 400°F for the last 2–3 minutes for extra crisp.
-
Serve & Enjoy: Garnish with extra lime and fresh herbs if desired.
