Recipe: Caribbean Air-Fried Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp ground allspice

  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)

  • 1 tbsp lime juice

  • ½ tbsp coconut aminos (or gluten-free soy sauce)

  • ½ tsp mild chili powder (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Make the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, honey/maple syrup, and coconut aminos. Stir in all dry spices until a paste forms.

  2. Coat the Wings: Toss the chicken wings in the marinade until fully coated. Let marinate at least 30 minutes (overnight is ideal!).

  3. Air Fry: Preheat air fryer to 380°F. Arrange wings in a single layer and cook for 22–25 minutes, flipping halfway. Increase temp to 400°F for the last 2–3 minutes for extra crisp.

  4. Serve & Enjoy: Garnish with extra lime and fresh herbs if desired.
